There’s one of these Bachmann Davenport’s gathering dust at my LHS. Hmmmm…

<<Kit includes a fret of precision photo-etched-to-shape brass parts, pro-moulded resin mouldings, CNC machined brass parts and brass wire. The etched fret includes: Perforated radiator guard, Left and right side skirts with separately etched side skirt doors which may be fitted open or closed, 6 x Louvre panels for hood sides, Alternative Radiator badges included for ‘WHITCOMB’, ‘DAVENPORT’ or ‘HUDSWELL’ , New panelled cab doors, Cab side window visors, Cab front window frames (fit open or closed), Selection of loco number plates (4-8), Handrail post brackets and alternative fluted side rods. Superbly detailed resin mouldings are provided for Tool tray, Air cleaner, Horn, Wooden stowage box, Fuel Tank, Air tank and a pair of Ballast weights for cab rear. CNC machined brass turnings are provided for handrail posts and replacement hood door handles. The handgrabs for the cab rear and roof are lost wax brass castings. ‘Backwoods Miniatures’ are a etched brass/resin kit company in England.

They are just starting in G scale but have done a lot of work in the smaller scales and have a very good reputation here the UK.
