A Busy Day

Hello Railfans It was a busy day on the ol Rock Root and Dog Poop line yesterday as the work crew dynamited a troublesome ledge and then utilised the local chain gang and Chinese labor to clean up the mess. All went well until the 3 convicts at the top of the photo asked to go to the outhouse car and instead made a break for it and fled into the tunnel. They haven’t been seen since.

The great escape and the last we saw of them. The RR denies responsibility for the escape and the finger pointing is sure to continue until the escapees are rounded up.

Later that day trains were once again running. Todd

I couldn’t stop laughing! Great train story and awesome photos! CUTE!

Hmm… those convicts wouldn’t happen to be named Larry, Curly, and Moe, would they?

Looked like Rooster, Holleywood and Andy.

The Soggy Bottom Boys. O brothers, where are ye?

You got it Chris! One of my favorite movies “OH Brother Where art thou” Great soundtrack.
For those who have seen it Would it qualify as a train movie?
I made the figures out of Sculpey clay and copied them from the soundtrack cover. I consider them my finest figures.

Fun times on the RR
