So a friend of mine has a building front for his outdoor railroad made of rigid insulation and mortar carved into stone. So I painted it up for him to look more like the original than the grey mortar.
First I strengthened the corners using Titelock Super Grab, which this stuff is the best ever, then I further strengthened the joints using my go-to method of bamboo skewers driven in at angle. Then I painted the whole thing up, painted the windows, replaced the roof with some strips of green flat roofing, and there you go. I wish I could find a picture of the original mill in place but I can’t find it. Once my buddy gets the rest of the doors and windows in, I’ll paint them up and show some pictures of the whole deal in place.
Thaks for looking!
