That would be the one Ralph. There is also an open hopper ( coal ) that I haven’t decided on.

Hollywood, You might think about lettering some B&O. It would make the consist a little more interesting ;) Ralph

Yes Ralph , but then I’d need to use another color on them. More decals and I’d have to get ole M.T. Pockets to come up with a new cover story on where he got the idea for the shops to build this style of car so royalties aren’t asked for by B&O

Finally got the ladder jigs made. Each type of car uses an 18" ladder on the sides, and a 15" ladder on the end.The hopper ladders each have 5 rungs, and the boxcar has a 7 rung ladder on the side and a 6 rung ladder on the end.

I have also bent the end walk grabs for all the cars.

Easy enough........the LS ML & E bought old B & O cars ;) Ralph

Womens work!

More womens work accomplished today. The 24 ladders for the hoppers are ready for paint.

and a look at the jig in use.

Boxcar ladder rails are half finished. Hopefully I’ll get the rest of those cut tonight.

Dave,

You really are my Hero, Great job.

And ladders painted Box car.

Hoppers.

Now to get these installed and make the roofwalks.

Look good. Love the jig. I have jigs for lots of things like this. Always good to have around.

What are you going to use for the roof walks? Grated walks, I assume?

As easy as grated walks would be, the prototype shows wood so wood it is.

Ladders have been installed and roofwalks started. Ladders on the cars.

And roofwalk pieces.

Looks great Hollywood. You can ship them up this way when done. Still waiting on the last order.

They haven’t got there yet Shawn. I know from a contact that they got through Bird-in-Hand back in February of this year, and the winter wasn’t that bad. I guess I’ll send out a qualified team of search snails to look for them. If I can I’ll get Snail Team 6.
