A Boot shop

I had a bunch of scraps of building pieces laying around and after looking through them figgered, heck, there’s enough stuff here for another building. It’s all left over scraps from Clarks and the Bath House.

The “Boots” sign will hang perpendicular to the wall, it has the same thing on the other side.

Looking good so far Ken. Don’t you just love it when you can build something from what you have laying around.
BTW I didn’t know our Bob could make boots.

I don't think he did either.....;)

Nice. I agree with Randy, it’s always fun to find out you don’t have to buy something else to start a building. The sign just doesn’t seem right; I’d recommend all caps on the sign. Maybe something like this?

I thought about that Bruce. I didn’t think it looked right either, but I didn’t know why.

I’ll try the caps…see what it looks like.

Well, I do need some Evergreen Styrene Angle pieces, just can’t get the Caboose Hobbies “checkout” to work…

Ken,
I think this was your sub-conscience reaction to Bob’s many references as to what he was going to to with his size 10 boots
Ralph

Nice looking shop Ken.

I agree with your choice of Bob as the proprietor of this fine edifice. After all if we misbehave on this site he can “give us the boot” can he not?

And I need a fifth. Looking good so far Ken.

Nice start and I like it

BTW good choice for the proprietor, Ken

I buy all my Evergreen from Blue Ridge Hobbies and their prices are better than anyplace I’ve found

Nice use of materials and a nice small store. Did you give thought to a boot for your sign ?

Yea, but I couldn't figure out how to make it and use the printer. I also thought of cutting one out on the scroll saw, And I just may do that, too.

Nice Ken. Always nice when you can build something from scraps.

Check out one of the many larger size "hero figures" or cheaper plastic kits in the toy department and hack his foot off.

When can we start ordering boots???
