On my daily visits to the online version of “Nürnberger Nachrichten” and “Nürnberger Zeitung” I can’t help but notice that Nürnberg and environs, as an industrial location, is being downsized in a major way.
Latest example: “Bosch” is planning to reduce their 2000 employees by up to 500. Just one more who either reduces or, as in some other instances, closes shop altogether.
No surprise that Schöntag’s proposal found the “allround” approval of all involved - including the “City fathers”. I guess with all the jobs being “outsourced” one would take the optimistic view aka the “rose coloured glasses” condition. Except in EPL’s case the tint could have been a still deeper hue.
