Here are a few pictures that my friend took around Christmas while we were watching the eagles around Lake Coeur d" Alene.
The 1st pictures shows this young eagle getting a fish from the lake.
The second and third pictures shows this same eagle sitting in the tree right above us eatting the fish he just caught. Awesome pictures.

Beautiful pictures, Stan, Used to see them all the time on the Kenai Peninsular, never as close as your pictures would indicate this one was- Here in Boston, we have a multitude of hawks, which are almost as nice to watch on lazy summer days- Thanks for the post!

In the Clinton, West Boylston (Mass.) area we have a nesting pair @ the Wachussetts res.
I’ts always a thrill to see them.You do need to be looking though as they aren’t as vocal as say a hawk!
