A baby in your stocking for Christmas

Congratulations to Craig on his early Christmas present. Their baby was born 12/20.

crying at night, the decent smell of baby poo… oh, yeah…

i think, congratulations are in order!

Congrats on the new addition to the family!

Congratulations, Craig. I assume that Mother and baby are doing well?

Hey thanks Devon for making a new thread…

Baby Luke arrived early on Sunday afternoon (12/20) much to the shock of my wife and I. She didn’t think that she was in labor yet (due on 1/14) and kept denying that she was having contractions until they were about 5 minutes apart. By the time we got to the hospital, she was having them every 3-4 minutes. Here’s the timeline- Arrival at hospital 14:15, go to labor/delivery bypassing the ER. L/D send me back down to ER to ‘register’ my wife, 14:45 I get back to L/D room. Doc checks (for the first time) at 14:50ish declares her completely ready, more to L/D room. By 15:10, my wife tells me I hope this kid comes in the next 2 hours, or so. 15:15, wife tells nurses and doc to get ready… 15:28, kid pops out.

Apparently the second kid was a bit faster than the first…

Congratulations, and post a picture already.

Heck, yesterday was the first day in a week that we haven’t been rushing around for some family event, or family invites us over to spend time to see the baby… Because the kid came a few weeks early, we’ve been just a tad bit busy organizing the house and rearranging. Did you get Luke a train for his first Christmas? You know that nice one with all the bells and whistles! Did you wear it out already?

Congratulations!
