Ralph, posted the first one. John has the other.
one more photo, this one is from my friend Dave Busse. My battery was dead when we were at this spot, so Dave was kind enough to share a photo for everyone here from Summit.

It’s VERY hard to get pictures like this when you live mostly in the UK, so you can see how much we appreciate seeing such wondrous images of real steam in action - thankyou a hundred times!!!

Wow, nice shots John. It’s flat here in Nebraska, so no neat angle shots of it when it rolls through here.
Thaks Jerry, but I bet you get to see mainline steam far more often then we do down here. I was blown away by how many people were scattered all over the pass watching the train go by (in addition to the pacers)
In that last pic, is that snow or dust on top of the engine and tender?
Ray, I think that’s called “scaling” on the locomotive, but I am a diesel person, but I am sure one of the steamers in here will know what that buildup is called.
sorry i missed the chance to visit her while she was in Vegas but that’s casino life…beautiful pics
Wow! Great pics, wish I could have made my way there so thanks for all us who couldn’t make it.
We only live about 15 miles from here and I didn’t get to see it.=(=(=(=(
Very nice photography.
Yeah I think he is right Ray, it looks like scaling. You can kind of see it in the first two pics also.
