I am on a time crunch. Almost have my new hobby room organized at least enough to set up a work table and be able to find my stuff

There have been rumblings…OD said it will be topic-dependent. Oldest Son (OS) has also expressed interest, too. OD can do battle with the rest of the adult children on this site. For OS, I told him I would ask about a “youth division” this year before letting him fly solo. There is also talk amongst my secessionists of a kids vs. dad scenario. We shall see!

I am going to have to finish painting my Ukulele so I have room.
Huh? What Ukulele?
Oh, we had to cancel our California family trip this year, and one of the events was a place where you could paint a Ukulele. So we found cheap Ukuleles at Ollie’s, and everyone in the family got one to paint. When done we will get together on Zoom and show off our Ukuleles
Boy, there’s a phrase I never thought I would use!

I’m looking forward to the challenge. This will be the first time in a long time I won’t be on holidays or like last year renovating a house.

Hey, If I am a voting member and have any say I absolutely would love to see a youth division. i think it is awesome that you have your kids involved and whatever we can do to keep it that way is our JOB in my opinion. How else will we keep the hobby alive. Who knows maybe there will be a future modeler in my realm in the way of grand children and grand nieces and nephews, you never know.

EDIT: And, my run-up time to figure out Zoom would be somewhere in the neighborhood of two to three months!
