601 - Over the Limit

I sent a message to Bob concerning receiving the message -

“There are 601 files and directories. This is too much for current technology. The limit is 600.”

Bob has already got back to me and is working on the problem.

I’m going to blame this on the digital camera and me having too much fun.

Now THAT is a REAL problem!

BTW I wondered what all those inserts were supposed to be.

I don’t know, but Bob fixed it. Is that cool? That is why this site is what it is. Thanks Bob.

Some arbitrary (it seems) limit in the software package for the freight sheds. Hope I didnt break anything else!

Just initiated a membership under my wife’s name to try to get around the photo overlaod.

Very strange situation. I was able to load one picture to Jan’s Freight shed from the exact same file where all the other pictures are stored from the weekend. It was the first picture off the disc. But the picture that I have been failing to load to my Freight Shed still will not load and it was put into the computer at the same time as all the other pictures. Maybe I’ll try renaming some of those files and see if that changes something.

Problem was turned over to Bob.

Figured it out, and it should be fixed. You will probably have to clear your browser cache to get the changes.

Now you can have 605!

Yes, I can.

Thank you Bob.

Jan is excited that she has her own userid and a place to store photos. So no harm, no fowl.

It just gets better. Now I load a picture and it comes in Huge. No clue why. Haven’t changed anything form what I normally do.

Anyone have clues on how to resolve?

HAhahaha edit your image with some sort of photo editing software? I generally have to reduce mine by 50% before I upload them…perhaps a setting got changed on yer camera…

Bart,

That is the key words. Thank you.

“perhaps a setting got changed on yer camera”

Yep, batteries were down after about 4 or 5 pictures and the batteries were changed. Just checked, no wonder things were screwy, pictures taken at the highest level of detail instead of the standard 640x480 setting. Never thought to look at that. Oh well.

Bob, sorry for all the trouble.

Wow…I was right…the Wife will never believe it!

Hey Bart, she’ll believe you, just tell her at least once a day for the next week. May only take a day or two.
