Kim got me this for Christmas…
It’s a 1/25 '57 Chevy 3124, lettered for the Iowa DoT… I neither model Iowa, nor need a stake truck (Since I already have a really nice '35 Ford one!) — sooo it got a minor rework. Now it’s almost ready to deliver house coal. I just need to fabricate a tailgate and add some lettering.
The interesting thing is, it’s almost the exact same size as the 1/24 '57 1500 stepside… so it doesn’t look like a dwarf, but just a pickup with duallies and a dump bed
Looking at the cab style, I believe it is just representing a one ton in stead of the half ton with single wheels.
