55 Buick Cop Car wired with lights

My lovely wife got me a 55 Buick cop car and a red/blue flashing LED. Get them here: http://www.policecarmodels.com/index.html

I made the clear top from a ball point pen clicker that was clear. Put a ring of solder around the base. I also used some of the Walmart warm LED’s that were battery powered sets they had at xmas. I used a 470 ohm resistor on them.

Should look cool this summer, now I need a cop and a criminal. :slight_smile:

It flashes red and blue, camera just got the blue cycle.

As Broderick used to say 10-4! He stayed at a local hotel as did several famous actors and actresses in the 50’s at the Ft. Sidney Motor Hotel my old home town!! Used to be a wall as you walked in with all their autographed pictures. My wife was head housekeeper there for over 10 yrs, and met another old timer Rory Calhoun. His last move a real B movie about barbecued humans left a lot to be desired by what actors ended up doing at the end of their careers to make a living!! Regal
