5 tornadoes & 1/4 inch hail today!

5 Tornadoes from Hawk Springs in Wyoming to around us here in Minatare, and Scottsbluff and 1/4 inch hail fell on the J&B railroad today around 2pm. Tornadoes were within 2miles of us, but NOT here, and hail and torrential rain fell too!!! Everyday now it seems. Not sure if I want to put out buildings, trestles and such now get wiped out. Now in about 30 day’s the West Nile mosquitoes will be out in force too. Have to wait until early Sept or middle to do anything. Guess I’ll just run indoors for awhile and fix and repair. The Regal

Jerry, We are having the same type weather, minus the tornados. Torrential rains every afternoon with “BAD” lightning. I was getting ready yesterday for my daughter’s HS graduation. Watched sparks spew from the GFI outlet in my bathroom as lightning struck. This photo from a couple days ago. Ralph

We’ve only had one tornado in the area 2-3 weeks ago, but with the exception of last weekend, the weather here has generally sucked for weeks. The forecast for the weekend, and most of next week is cloudy and rainy.

It’s really tough to get anything done outside under these conditions. Perhaps I should go grab a six-pack and contemplate upgrades to the indoor RR.
