4th of July Pix

After the Fourth of July Parade, we invited family over to eat (what we do best).

This was my red, white, and blue opposite our flag:

Nice Independence Day pics, Lou.

Nice, Boomer!

Unfortunately, my back was bothering me and I couldn’t get the single trolley line running. Then I noticed the mainline had sand overflow, so I need to get under the deck steps to clean out the drain, but I can’t because of my back…

Before the annual reenactment of the Battle of Gettysburg by our neighbors, all done with highly illegal fireworks despite a "zero tolerance " ban by the city. We had a very nice surprise flyover by six AT6 Texans in full WW2 colors. They were opening the festivities at the Rose Bowl. Took pics of the last pass but they didnt come out nice. I missed pics of the flyover directly over the house but that was nice. Low enough I could read the numbers on the tail. Got the full Tora Tora Tora experience.

Went to the parade in Lake Bluff.

The traditional, much loved, and always inappropriate “Lawnmower Drill Team” was mocking Medical Marijuana. My favorite part is always the marching bands. The Civil War Reenactors would fire their guns every block, startling and delighting little kids.
