30's era film of NYC's DeWitt yard

I found this posted elsewhere - http://www.cnyhistory.org/video/video.html?vid=3863108A-E1C6-4B18-812A-2D44DE92D64D .
I love the shots of the guys riding the boxcars in the hump yard.

Pretty neat. I guess that is a water trough, they are installing? I thought they were deeper.

You need to send this over to The Railway Channel.com. Very neat. Anymore like it around?

That was very cool! I finally got it to play. What was all the hoodoo at the end with the cars?

Thanks Brian.
Some great footage you found.
Those box cars are moving along pretty good coming off the hump.
Ralph

The hoodo with the cars towards the end looks like a 30’s fender bender. Pushing one back from the right front of the other.

I dug through that site and found these -
