30 minute bridge

In the middle of repainting most of my rolling stock, building several structures and kit bashing a MOW car, I got a wild hair and decided to build a bridge. I call this my 30 minute bridge, as that is how long it took to go from idea stage to paint. The bridge itself is very rigid, made from acrylic sheet stock. The posts were some left over plastic I had laying around. Ralph

Nice idea Ralph–that looks really good. I may have to try that. What did you use for glue?

Ambroid ProWeld. Works great on acrylic. 10 second bond. The posts are just cosmetic. 5 minutes after I had glued the sides I was flexing the deck trying to pop them off. They held. Ralph

I put some wooden planks through the extended braces. Looked cool. But then I had one of those “duh” moments. Why would you extend the steel sides with wood? So I sawed off the braces where they extended above the sides. Not as cool, but more conventional  Ralph
