I have decided to withdraw most of the Aristo Classics I listed here. I realized that I’ve been buying Classic Freight Trucks & Couplers for the cars I’ve built and plan to build and am spending nearly what I am selling a complete car for on a set of trucks & couplers.

Should anyone have a use for Classic Box Cars, Reefers or Gondola bodies less trucks and couplers, I’ll part with what I have for $25 each - or $100 for all 5.

EDIT to add: I’ve deleted the items withdrawn from the above post. Everything listed above is still for sale.

A while back I made the same decision. With metal wheels, Kadee couplers and tweaking the trucks, there is more time and money than what you will get for it. Besides the hinge hardware and door latches and sometinmes hand rails could also be salvaged. What’s left can be used as an old shed like what Shawn was needing. :wink:

Bump and a comment: If you don’t want, or care for Aristo metal wheels. I’ll take the wheels and $10 off any of the cars listed as “with metal wheels”. I have quite a few OEM plastic wheels that I can put on.

Jon…could you bring the C-16 along…I haven’t got a clue if this is what I’m after but I have to start looking somewhere

I am interested in the 1998 ARt East Broad Top C-16 but am not going to the show. Any possibility of shipping to Florida?
