26TH National Garden Railway Convention

Don’t forget that there is a convention starting in just a few days here in the cool Pacific Northwest, in Tacoma at the Convention Center. Lots af garden RR will be open on different daysfor viewing, venders will hold sway in the Convention Center, there will be a BBQ at the Northwest Railway Museum, if you got the money a great cruise to Alaska (Skagway) and a ride on the White Pass and Yukon. TOC will be running as well.

Well with a plan comes hope! :)

Trestle is…16-17 years old.

Takes some maintenance (as do the real ones), but it’s still holding up and passing revenue trains across it!

I think this was the last public showing of the railroad.

Private, and operations, no problem, but doing all the get-ready stuff and on my feet all those hours, I think that’s it.

I wasn’t going to have it open for this convention, but enough pressure was brought to bear, figured we needed to, and it did give us the impetus to get some big projects completed.
