2026 Summer/Fall Running

Let’s see your photos!

I have 2 new LNER locos that I finally got to run. The D16 is a flyer!

And my LNER B1 is a real beauty.

Finally, for your entertainment, here’s a pic from the Pennsylvania Live Steamers meet.
Mike brings his big portable track, which means we have to transport all our gear and trains to the track. You can see lots of loco carriers and plastic boxes under the track.
You can also see the 7.5" ride-on track behind our g-1, and behind the folding chairs - with a train passing. Got to be careful stepping back here!

Nice! Andrew Green, the Director of Marketing for the East Broad Top, is attempting to organize a Central PA club with hopes to find some property and develop permanent tracks in gauge 1 and perhaps 7.5". He has a very nice garden railway in Three Springs. I missed his open house a few weeks ago by having the date wrong :frowning:

I haven’t steamed my plantation Shay since well before we moved. When you guys had the track here for the FEBT Reunion my brother was visiting so I didn’t have time to bring it over. I really need to get it unpacked and at least running on my indoor soon. There isn’t enough track to properly exercise it, but I need to prove the RC still works and refresh myself with the steam up procedure.

To paraphrase Rooster, “And I don’t even like diesel.” But this is a jaw dropper, @Shane_Stewart, wow. All your kids ready for some night action!
