Well, since you asked (nicely) and said please and we all hate to see roosters beg (so unbecoming of partially feathered fowl), here ya go:
There … you happy? Now get all your feathers unruffled (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)
The last of the chimneys were mailed out yesterday.....
Most everyone should have theirs in hand within a couple of days.
Tim in Alaska, Eric in Hawaii, I don't have a clue on delivery times.
ANYONE that doesn't have theirs in hand by Fri 10th..... LET ME KNOW!
I got mine, all 5 pieces thanks to the USPS. Clean break so it can be fixed easy. Thanks Dave, look forward to the challenge.
I gots mine. Now if only the 11th would get here
Mine were waiting for me today, since my mailbox is a mile away I assume it arrived yesterday.(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
Chimney arrived yesterday, thanks Dave (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
Chimney arrived today. Now to get the other project out of the way…
It’s
GO
TIME in the Eastern Time zone.
Everyone else waits a couple of hours or so…
Dave
Yawn … I did most of my chores today, tomorrow will be testing my theories and then trying sum thin’ else.(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-undecided.gif)
John… Just wait 18 min and you can do all that you want…
ONE WEEK GONE..!
23 DAYS AND
4 WEEKENDS
TO GET IT DONE !!
I now wish I had. I was supposed to be out of town at Epson school last week, but that was cancelled short notice. So this year, instead of participating, I am sitting in the cheep seats, with my pop (soda) and popcorn, watching the show.
If you want to join in Maynard, I’m sure there isn’t a single guy here who would object. Besides, it says in the by-rules, Para. 5-67, that “All particpants unable due to circumstances beyond their control such as fires, earthquakes, work, cribbage tournament, or an act of God to start on time shall be allowed to call Dave, get materials, and start late, napkin notwithstanding.”
I agree, I’m still prepping my materials and haven’t started construction yet, come on jump in.
The sooner you let Dave know the better.
I offered up two train themed pens for prizes and our fearless leader said it was my choice of how to award them so here goes. One of them goes to the build with the most 3D printed parts and the other doesn’t go to anyone who has admitted in writing to drinking bourbon from third world countries (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)If you don’t get the humor in this, you’re not reading all the build logs like you should (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
Seriously, since Dave gives the mug to the winner of the Spirit of MIK Award, I will give one pen to the first place winner and the second pen will be a random drawing from all those LSC members who take the time to vote once the voting begins. If anyone takes issue with my methods, take it up with Dave since he is the one that left me with no adult supervision (which can be very dangerous) (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
Now Dan,
I never admitted in writing to drinkin’ bourbon from Alabama!!!
Now… Having lived in AL for 5 years… Bourbon from Alabama is generally good stuff… But the moonshine from the back woods…OMG…
