Large Scale Central

2016 Official Spring photos !

Well the calendar says it’s spring!

That would mean that it’s also time to re- ballast the tracks in some spots.

Charlie Brown sent out a small crew to install some switches and re-ballast some area’s.

Hear we see the crew at the end of this cold and rainy day.

With in the next several weeks we should be seeing some color …
Haven’t decided were these tracks will end up …

Ohhh Ya … the Bachmann switch mechanism works great so far!

Shawn you’re up next!

Shut up Rooster!

I need to pick up two loads of stone very soon. 1 load of fines and one load of 3/4 for paths etc. My trailer is still full of leaves from 4 falls ago - guess I need to call my BIL and borrow his.

Looking good Sean.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Spring Uggg.

The track crew was sent out again.

This time they were caught doing some work!(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

This is going to be a daily job for them for a while!

Might want to check that calendar. First day of Spring 2016 is March 20.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Parts of my railroad are buried under leaves and sticks, and I am in York, 200 plus miles east of my railroad.

You’ve got a hard working crew there, Sean.

Yep it is spring!

6" of fresh powdery snow this morning and it is still snowing!

Great picture Eric - Perfect amount for a scale storm of a foot or two (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Here we are seeing the track cleaning extra! Some small branches are down along with some leaves.

This consists of the leaf blower, Engine , tool car , and lastly a trackman-2000

The work train empty (No gravel in the gondolas for now) is seen near the yard then over near the new section.

Gee I hope it warms up soon !!
