Large Scale Central

2016 Miks, Vic Smith, A Delicate Balance

I think I personally am going to go into full blown panic mode. With the pending to begin construction date I keep coming up with more ideas that have to be built. So I will loan you my magazines, i wll read them when your out house is finished. Leave them on the bench.

Panic? Ah, no reason for that Devon. I mean, um… just a few days away…and I don’t have a napkin drawing yet…Oh gee!!

Devon, I am with you, its time to panic.

My problem isn’t the lack of plans its an over abundance of them.

Feel free to run amok

I guess I’ll be good and NOT say what this discussion is full of!

But where there’s a will there’s a way!

Gee, I thought it was, “Where there is a will, there’s relatives.”

I like your version! Been there!

Let the cutting begin!

What scale are oyu building in Vic. Out of all of these projects I am on the edge of my (toilet) seat waiting to see how your going to use all of your tin on a one holer. Unless its big enough to fit John’s dinosaur.

Those measurements are cubits!

This will be about 1/24 scale, its just easier to build. The finished pizza is about 1/22.5. I’ll only be using some of Dave’s panels, I’ll find good uses for the rest it them.

wood framing under way, just whatever pieces I had in the Michael’s Crafts basswood grab bag.

wood base work

walls up

thats it for now, stained the wood with my favorite wood ager, old very used paint thinner, stinks like hell, so its outside for a couple .

Is it done yet?

Looking good Vic.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Nah its just really REALLY small, alot smaller than I realized at conception. I’m going to fill out the time hopefully with details like rust painting, posters, etc, and I still have to modify the mini pizza to accept this and place it on the layout, so its still has a ways to go

Ah, minor point, its 32 feet per second squared, or more accurately 32.174 feet per second squared. Devon, you are right, air resistance would need to be calculated in, because some poop is more aerodynamically shaped, then others.

And this would be the velocity of the poop when it exits the floor of the structure. How high is the structure from the valley floor? And then there is another question; What is the splatter factor for various poops exiting the structure?

Wow, Maynard, you really know your sh¥t. Nah, I made scale TP rolls and the are beautiful (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

I have to practice some scale rust painting. I like Dave’s panels, they bend and crumple real nice.
