2015 train calendars

Has anyone seen 2015 train calendars besides Garden Railways who is charging $12.99?

Yes, try the friends of the Cumbers and Toltec SRR, website.

Paul

Try Schraders or HistoricRail.

I just got 2 from Schraders, “Colorado Narrow Gauge” and “Steam and Steel”.

I’m waiting for Orchard Supply Hardware to offer theirs. They’re free!!!

I bought a Canadian Trains calendar, but I missed the sales price at the Real Canadian Superstore. Oh well!

Calendars.com have a decent selection. I ordered ones called “Classic Trains”. They run sales and free shipping offers

Chuck

I bought my calendar from the O. Winston Link Museum this year.
I’m waiting for New Years Day to open it and take a look

I agree Vic. I ALWAYS had those OSH calendars in my Cad office at work! But don’t hold your breath…OSH went bankrupt about two years ago…the big one here in Burbank closed their store about a year ago. Hobby Lobby now.

Yeah that is one I usually buy also but wait till after Christmas to purchase at 50% off. Last yr was also from a RCSS outlet where they still had a half dozen !

p.s. i annually neglect to contact the publisher ‘brown trout’ tah ask if they utilize new contributors … cause some of the decided upon submissions tend to be actually ‘boring’ (looking at the backside of 2015) imho !! Shucks the majority of us take better (1:1) railway shots. Although maybe not hi-res for large format publishing. Reviewing some of last yrs creds’ indicate purchasing from stock photo supplier(s)…except for http://www.dantroy.com/Portfolios/Railroads/1/thumbs daniel w. toy albeit u.s. based !

Gary, The OSHs here in Pasadena are still here, got a calendar last year so at least they are still doing them

Vic,

That’s good news! I’ll have to get over there and pick one up.

Friends of the 4449 put out a nice calendar every year. Just got mine last week.
