An annual event held at Maitland, New South Wales (Australia, for the geographically challenged). The race is between three ‘crack’ express passenger locomotives (in their era) and is held between the cities of Newcastle and Maitland. The three locomotives are the recently restored 3265, the ‘nanny’ class 3526 and 3642. Very entertaining video link for the steam addict.
