For the most part members live in the Greater St. Louis, Missouri Metropolitan Area. Although the club has some members as far as several hundred miles away. We meet once a month and it costs only $10 a year to join. If you are interested in joining, contact the address or number at the bottom of this post and enjoy the fun of large scale trains in the St. Louis area. www.GGRRC.org

Tell Jean, birds are in migration at that time. Audubon Society in abundance in the area. 80,000 plus waterfowl usually on the lake

Ah, birds! What kind?

Seriously thinking about this. I almost have enough airline miles to fly for “free”.

FLY??? It ain’t that far. Almost , but not quite. Besides, a layover in Ft. Gay, WV is a must…

Geese of all kinds, ducks of all kinds, pilcans, egrets, herons, and a whole lot that I don’t have a clue what they are. But they sure do attract a lot of people. Free airport pick up by rail.

Must get pretty messy down there by that marina with all them birds flying around. Is a raincoat a must???..

By Spring most of a docks are white, and guys, that ain’t paint.
