"Ric,
I’ve got on my white socks, my neck is red, and I am drinkin’ Blue Ribbon Beer. I have lived so far off the paved road that just driving to my place added 10 lbs of dust to your pick-up. You do have a pick-up, don’t you? "
Yeap, well kinda, got a jeep and an 82 Chevy flat bed.
Marty, Just wanted to show you guys that we are “trainin” for the upcoming events. Here’s Luke workin on how to switch the freight cars to make up a train. He uncouples some tank cars
And then his 0-5-0 power shoves some others down the track.
Ric

this “junior railroad training session” that has been going on this weekend, along with his younger sister and the fresh supply of rocks, obtained with the breakup of my father-inlaws house, we have tested muscles that have not been stressed like this in a long time.
Marty’s is a welcome event each and every year, great time and great friends. Certainly worth the time and energy. If you can get to the Midwest, you need to join in this gathering.
Ric, I’ll see you there. I’ve already got my tickets…
Warren
Just a side note, your welcome to run my rolling stock. My body mounted kadees are 1 1/8" center off the rail.
So come with your couplers addapted.
Also IF you run my home made cars PLEASE handle carefully and always hold them from the bottoms.
They are NOT as strong as the factory made injected molded ones.
