Very nice,
The 4-4-0 looks very sharp indeed.

Timmy,
haven’t seen you on in a while…well why would you be a postin’, if you have those beauties to play with! Love the America!

Ever since I saw the video of the real Eureka & Palisades over on the Durango & Silverton, I says, I would like one of those.
It is so tiny compared to the D&S mikes.
So, Tim, put them both side by side, and take a front pic for me, please.
I wanna see if Backman got it right.
But even if they didn’t, congratulations on a fine set of lokies!

Certianly! Here is a picture of them side by side:

More pictures are here, http://timothydehan.com/redmondcreekrr/eureka_K27.htm including a short video slide show, http://timothydehan.com/redmondcreekrr/vids/Eureka_K27.wmv 3MB
Tim,
Not bad at all.
Thanks for the pics!

I’ve been in love with that Eureka & Palisade engine since it came out. Just couldn’t justify in my mind spending that much money on something I’d probably just display anyway. Ah well, maybe one of these days…
Doesn’t the real E&P make trips here and there to run on narrow gauge track. That would give you a perfect reason to have such!
Steve,
I have a video of her on the D&S and the C&T.
All she could manage on both railways was one coach and a caboose.
But she sure looked sweet!
They had to leave woodpiles at various locations and she watered at every tank.
For such a runt, she sure ate and drank alot!
Yup… she’s a beauty!

And so is the K-27

If ol’ #4 can only pull two cars, a coach and a crummy, we should think about putting a heavier battery over the drivers!
I did it again, I just can’t help myself! The devil made me do it!
Actually… if it is anything like my other Bachmann 4-4-0 it can pull quite a lot.
I believe I am having an issue at the moment with the tender pickups not transmitting power to the loco but am checking that out.
