picked up a bachmann 2-6-0 Mogul yellow pine lumber yesterday got a sweet deal on it,got it for $175 lol seen it this morning for $850.The middle driver wonders a bit ,but going to make up some shims to keep it in line with the others.Will post pics in a bit camera was dead

Middle driver is SUPPOSED to “wonder”.
Just remove the guide pin plate in its entirety, along with the 2 screws, and DO NOT re-install the screws, as they will rip the gears out.
Scooby, for spacers, I used thin slices of Evergreen tubing. I forget the diameter, but just large enough to fit around the axle. I just split the tube on one side and snapped it in place.

This keeps the center driver in line with the front and rear drivers so you don’t have to worry about it falling off the railhead on tight curves. I’ve had this running on 5’ diameter (2.5’ radius) curves, and the wheels stayed where they were supposed to. Later, K
