Here is a lousy scan of the steam rail car I might build. There’s a prototype for everything. 1898, built by Baldwin Locomotive works.
Pretty neat! Once again, wide radius needed.
At least with this design the body could pivot on both the driving wheel section and the trailing truck.
That’s got character.

now that has some prospects, although drive wheels would need to be quite small. The drive would definately be pivotted.
