Morris Arboratum up in Chestnut Hill, PA, just north of Philly has a similar set up as the Botanical Garden in Chicago, courtesy of Paul Busse and Co. I haven’t been up there in about 10 years as it’s such a PITA to get there from here, but they recently up-graded the layout and fixed a few buildings that were getting weather beaten.

I like the way you incorporated natural wood into the layout to complement the trees. I hesitate to ask about that green monster coming out of the log tunnel…
