12" scale Pacific 'Tornado' gets first steaming!

Apologies for butting in, but this short video on Youtube demonstrates that the art of modelling in VERY large scale has not evaded us here in UK.

The Peppercorn A1 ‘Tornado’ is the first full-size Class 1 passenger loomotive to be built in UK for over 50 years. All of us who had anything whatsoever to do with this venture over the years are VERY proud of the effort made by the team that have built this beautiful locomotive.

Terry, wow, what a sight! These wheels must be taller than me! But the cab design is perhaps somewhat too open for UK weather:-)), Best wishes, Zubi
PS I understand the strategically positioned Porsche is yours…

Hmph.

Well, it will be steaming on the main line in April, alevai, and I suppect that the place will be packed ten deep to see it. Needless to say, me and ig will be there to record the event for posterity in our very small way.

MY Porsche is now probably made into razor blades [RIP - Porsche Carrera 2.4 - EBD 114F].

These days I have to make do with my old 380SL and an ML350…I guess that SOMEBODY has to help Mercedes-Benz out of the doldrums.

Best wishes
