12 coupled steam locomotives

Each year Wolsztyn Poland hosts a steam locomotive parade. This year the parade was held on April 30th. and just a few hours later there are three pages of videos of the event on youtube. They operate the locomotive individually in groups and my favorite is all coupled together.

Only two of these locomotives are housed in Wolsztyn. The rest are arive from Germany, other parts of Poland, and the Czech Republic.

I thought you might enjoy the following video as it is rare to see this much power in one place.

For those that are not familiar with Wolsztyn it is one of the few places in the world you can operate steam in revenue service. I hghtly recommend the experience and will be going again in August.

I can almost smell the coal smoke and hot valve oil. The EPA would pee their pants and poop bricks if we lined up that many coal burning locomotives at one time over here.
