1000 posts

My God, 1000 posts this must be some kind of almost unreachable milestone, and accomplished in only 8 and 1/2 years.

Shouldn’t there be huzzahas, marching bands and speech making, at the very least? Maybe a prize awarded of a new locomotive, tank car or at least a hand car to any member reaching this lofty goal. After all this is most likely the longest time any active member has ever taken to reach 1,000 posts.

I must admit that my 1,000th post, on the subject of dead chicken claws, doesn’t seem really on track, so to speak, in keeping with the original intent of this forum so maybe the bands and prizes should be withheld pending further review.

Oh well, it has been a fun and interesting 8 1/2 years and I have learned a lot from all of you.

Well, considering I have been here since day one (about 16 years ago I believe) and only have a paltry 522 posts, I may not live long enough to reach 1000, not that I care, so lucky you !

Well, if MLS keeps spiraling down, this will be the only Large Scale forum of any value, and then you can get those 1,000 easily R.J… the old Aristo Forum is pretty much dead.
