Large Scale Central

1:24 Scale Free 1912 Vehicles

Here’s the deal. I’ve got nine of these delivery vans new in the box. I’ve used all the ones that I’m going to use on my railroad and sold all the ones I’m going to sell and have a couple stashed just in case. These can be repainted or kit bashed to fit almost any theme on almost any railroad. My storage space is limited and I’m getting tired of almost stepping on them all the time. I’ll send these to the first nine forum members here (one per person) that indicate that they want one. All I ask in return is that you reimburse me for the shipping cost once you receive the car from me along with an extra dollar to cover my packing materials. I’ll send cheapest way possible. I could give them to a charity but I’d like to share them with fellow G Gaugers.

Good for you, Rudy! Nice gesture!

I’m tempted - but I already have 3 Model T kits to put together, you should find good homes for them fast.

I’ll take one if you don’t mind Rudy
I’ll e-mail address if it’s ok

Dave

Ron:

I just happen to have one left. Email me your contact info and it will happen.

Rudolf,

Not exactly the kind of vehicle I can use … but I didn’t want my lack of jumping in to grab one stop me from cheering loudly about what you decided to do with them … that’s what makes this place go round.

Matt

Dear Rudy,

Got mine today, well packaged and in good shape. It will look nice next to my Tweetsie mixed consist.

No questionable characters escaped from your layout and stowed away in the package.

Postage and materials reimbursement on the way.

Yee-Ha.

Thanks, Bud.

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik

Edit: Added “and materials”

Hi
Those are a neat little truck and it will find a happy home on my 1925-era layout.

Look what was in my PO box today!

Ain’t that cute. I’m not sure what I’ll do with it yet. I had in mind to make it look “period” and mount it on a flat car. By the '30’s it’d have some miles on it, not to mention rust.

Rudy,

Thank you. In the mail today was a package of 2 trucks. As I seem to have a gorilla on the loose in another thread I’ll be seeing Dave R in a few days to retrieve my gorilla and give him his truck.
Your check is in the mail Thanks again

Dave M

When do we get to see one of these repainted?

Jon.

Joe: Quite the opposite. Life in Wilson Valley is so good the women are still coming in. Found another that is actually sunbathing in the nude. The eye candy all over the valley is so good that peeping Toms with binocoulors are climbing the highest point to peep and drool.

I’ve done some heavy weathering on some of them. The theme being they were recovered from the desert that Wilson Valley is in. Recovered and now sitting in the junk yard to be refurbished. Wait a minute. That ladder going up to the tunnel should not be there. Those junk yard workers are at it again it seems. Going into the tunnel for a nooner. Damn Playmobil people.
