Large Scale Central

1:12 scale Lincoln sculpt

That’s pretty amazing Richard.

Says “WOW” as jaw bounces off floor.

Another masterpiece!

Here is the cleanout casting. I am using smooth on resin now and it looks almost like marble, so naturaly I had to pose this little 1:20.32 scifi figure I bought next to him. I’m going to have to put building a 1:20.32 scale model of the Lincoln memorial on my todo list:)

Richard,
Fantastic job, as usual.
What kind of paint do you use on your figures?
Ralph

Just acrylics. I’ve started using house paint and mixing in pigments from pastels because I can’t afford the good stuff. One nice thing about the house paint is that it is flat and it really is flat, almost like a fine powder when it dries. I am not sure how it will stand up to use, but for my usage it probably wouldn’t mater. I like modle masters acrylic as well as poly flo. They have proven good to me and usually supliment with artists pigments and some times some pastels.
