He stated in chat this evening that his problem is fixed due to a bad connection with an underground junction box. So problem solved without updating his post.
How could a linking problem be solved with a bad connection in an underground junction box unless it was lack of power to the base station? I would think it would be noticed if the linking led would not light up at all.
Anyway glad it is fixed.
