Hello to all.
It has been a long time since I wished to make one A frame, I thus began it at the beginning of the year.
I joins you some photos of my works.

Looks like you are off to a really good start.

The woodworking looks très agréable.

Looks great Jean-Gilles

As always very nice

What type of wood are you using, if it’s wood?

Thanks at you

I use samba

Nice work so far. How long is that turn table? It looks really short. Only small locos I guess? (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Thanks to all
Yes he is short because my modules are 60 cms wide, it is 58 long, but I have only short machines

58 cm converts to 22.83 inches. Not too short. My turn table is 36 inches (91.44 cm) long. It handles all locos I have.

I coloured the wood with a light juice of vinegar and steel wool what gave an amber tint.

Once dry I crossed a juice of India ink, what avoided me having a final in grey.
Stringers was painted with some acrylic red then brushed

the ties rod pad

with two lower abutment

Realization of the tensioners of truss rod and put in paint of primer

What has happened to your pictures? (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-frown.gif)

Oh!!!

Nice turnbuckles, are you making those yourself? From brass tube? I like it!

And that’s the only photo of yours that I see, so I’m looking forward to the rest of them.

Cliff, I too can see only the turnbuckle picture. I thought it was just my computer, a MAC, since other guy’s comments make it obvious they see more than we do. But like everything else he does, the turnbuckles are superb.

Bill,

The original pictures have disappeared. I think J-G moved them or closed his freight shed.

Exactly, I made a bad manipulation, I am going to put back you photos
