Ha they probably sold out, seriously 50 of each of the 2 colors? Try Star Hobbies
I say this without bitterness, but the fact is, I will buy if they are at the show, but I’m not going to search the country for them. So if Star Hobbies brings them to the show, fine. If not, I can live without them.
I had sent Harry an email about the different colors and why it was no longer up on web site
This is his response
Been trying to do that. The website CRASHED on me and have been rebuilding. I have had troubles with getting that page back UP. I have posted on Facebook page that the colored cars were PAINT SAMPLES ONLY and THE SHOW CAR WILL ONLY come in Light BLUE. NONE HAVE SOLD.
I spent 2 hours one evening rebuilding th page about the show car and I saved it and it went off to NEVER NEVER LAND. I spent another 1 or so the next evening and I was able to seperate the shirt page from the show car page and then rebuilt the show car page and AGAIN it went off to never never land. I will spend some time this evening and try a different way to get it up.
Thanks for the heads up…
Harry

Very sorry to hear of the issues with the web site Harry. I guess you could have done without that aggravation!
At least the facts about the Show Car are now known and it is good to see your clarification. Whilst there is only one colour for the Show I understand that two running numbers are available.
Only 29 days to go Harry, lol
Are they at all available, or what…
!@#$%
Nick in the email Harry said none have sold
Mike
If they are at the show I think with the limited # they will sell out. 1/24 not my cup of tea.
But good luck to him and his Show…
FInally Made it ! I know there has been some questions about the show car and other thing going on with the web site. Well to make a long story short. I was in the hospital with Pneumonia for 6 days and upon returning home, I was encouraged by my Dr to rest. Well I am most at rest in my chair but almost as much at rest in a chair at my keyboard.
Something happened to the website when I tried to update it. I first tried to separate the Tee Shirts and Show Cars into two different pages. I was successful with the Shirts and then went to build the Show car page. I had it up and running but then found a huge mistake. So I tried to fix it. Well somehow I wiped out that page. I spent the next two hours trying to rebuild that page. I lost it 2 or 3 more times. Finally I gave up and have been trying to figure out what I did wrong. Still don’t know. If you read my blog, you will find out that I got the feeling I was not suppose to put that page up as my computer crashed on me twice tonight. BUT persistence PAID OFF. I finally got the SHOW CAR page back up.
Take the time to view my latest blog comments. I address several rumors that have been started about the show (every year I spend 1/3 of my time addressing rumors.) I also added some OPINIONS. Take the time to read them and as with anyone’s comments you may or maynot agree with them but they are what I have seen and feel.
Thanks and I hope to see you at the show. NOW less than 30 days away.
Harry Hartman
Glad to hear you are on the mend Harry. Take the doctor’s instructions seriously. I was wondering about your blog. I guess I am missing something. Can you give us the link for it.
Thanks, and get well.
For why A vendor may be selling the show car:
As a guess, who would sell them, collect taxes for PA. And staff for doing all the work.
I assume Aristo in the past had the tax built into the price and as they were selling world wide as a business and had people to do the work.
Hi Dan,
You mention Aristo selling worldwide. As far as the Show Cars were concerned and I believe Harry is operating the same system now it is his Show, is that you could only get a Show at the Show. Non attendees had to ask a friends, who were attending, to get them one. That is how I got mine. lol
In PA there are taxes paid for selling the products at the show. As in the past, Aristo handled the paying of the taxes for the selling of the shirts and show cars. The TAX was INCLUDED with the selling price and we made it an even amount of money so the workers would NOT have to have coinage. Another reason I let another vendor handle this selling of the items for me. I DID NOT want to open a credit card account. About 1/3 of the people purchasing the show products paid with a credit card. I have enough paperwork to keep track of for the show and if I could find a vendor to help take car of that duty for me and we could come to some mutual agreement that worked for both of us, I would and did handle it that way. Putting aside all or any of the feedback I received from each past show, (sometimes it is stuff that I have NO CONTROL over and it fills my mailbox) I have PLEANTY of paperwork BEFORE the show and AFTER the show that MUST be completed.
Can’t wait, and I even saved up some money!
