Why aren't there sales?

People can justify anything they want from what someone says. You can protest and blame Wall Street, Corporations, Foreign Governments or anyone else, but it comes down to the fact that laws written and enforced, written and not enforced or not written, but still enforced are what drives the climate of business in the United States. The responsibility of our money being misspent is ours, because we allow government to take it from us and then they decide whether or not it should be spent in a particular hobby shop or not.

Actually, I’m trying my best, but I can’t fight world hunger, global warming/changing/cooling, erectile dysfunction through government grants, pay for unwed mothers, fathers and crossovers or undecideds, while trying not to offend anyone and still have enough money to support a hobby shop that does not have the part I need or want.

Excuse me, but its time for my unauthorized union nap.

Hey Ric…Read my post again. I was being nice. I pointed out quite clearly that Warren Buffet did indeed say exactly “I could end the deficit in 5 minutes”…

The rest of it is a political chain letter that has been circulating on the web for over a year now. You posted it like thousands before you…As being stated by Warren Buffet…It was not.

Does it help if I post a link showing everything past “…all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election” is not credited to Mr. Buffet?

http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/c/congressional-reform-act-2011.htm

or if you read this it explains how the first section is true but the following diatribe is falsely accredited to Mr. Buffet…

If someone credits a famous and respected person as saying something to back up their opinion it is open to question when it proves to be nothing more than another internet chain mail “SPAM”. This particular piece of “SPAM” is an old one. I even agree with some of the points made but it was NOT said by the person attributed.

I thought you were retired.

Here’s why you have to use the internet, and watch what you are ordering, and prices!! I like to support small hometown business’s. We are by a town of 20,000 people. I purchased for myself a 50ft roll a 100ft. roll and a coupler for $14 delivered to my door no shipping. The electronics shop wanted $45 for a crimping tool was told you can get for $6 the ends I didn’t even check, and they don’t sell rolls only in 1000ft boxes. When I shopped what I had already purchased for $14, a 25 ft. roll already to use, was $25, 50ft roll was $45. Now that is why you can’t shop locally and or support your small business anymore I try every where I can but that is too big of a gap. Remember I got a 50ft roll, a 100ft. roll and a coupler for $14 to my door no shipping. That is a perfect example of why the small business is dying off, and even though we try to support locally, if you are a gazzillionaire like some people in this hobby it don’t matter to em. I used to be a small business owner. The Wally Weird came in one night opened up, and my business fell 30% never came back either.

p.s. LOYALTY is just a word anymore! Regal

Mark V. - I sure didn’t take it that you weren’t being nice. And I wasn’t doing anything, but verifying what you said - that he was credited for some of it, but the rest was other opinions. As far as a “famous and respected person” - I don’t like his politics, as I stated, and actually think he is a narcissistic slug as far as a person of importance. My wife and kids are important, then comes my dog, then other family and a few friends, some old retired farts from the military, some internet buddies and even a few customers, but never a money man from Omaha that would sell your soul if he could make a buck off it. I actually put him below the cat and think less of his ideas, but did like the idea of getting rid of scum in Washington, no matter who says it.
