I use 6.5’ diameter as my smallest and the largest I have no clue but in my world its the eye ball diameter LOL If I had to gues maybe an 8ft di. but really I dont care, the trains look good to my eyes and thats all that counts. If all I had was 4ft di. curves then I would still be happy running HLW mini series stuff. HMMM that gives me an idea now.
We run minimum 20’ on the mains, and 10’ minimum elsewhere.
Well, I have twenty-eight and twenty-seven foot diameter curves.
Sounds pretty impressive, you might think, until I advise you that is ALL I have. Two circles of track - one inside the other - that’s it.
I like to see trains comin’ round the bend, and on MY track, they are ALWAYS comin’ round the bend.
'sides, I go no room for anything else - that totally fills our back yard.
