David,
Very cool. Veggie garden between the tracks.
Now I have an example to show the wife if I ever want to expand the RR

On second thought, I’m now weeding the GRR where her flower beds used to be.
I don’t want to be doing all the weeding in the vegetable garden too

You use the train to haul off the produce?

David - Great garden railroad! Lots of good fresh things to eat as the trains pass by.

Yes....I actually have....you must balance the tomato's just right on top of a 100 ton hopper. The key is maintain scale speed instead of sayin.... "Hey' Honey lets see if I can blow it around the entire line " Also .,...always measure tunnel clearances before doing such ! ;)

We have tomato’s and potatoes but that is it. Fruit trees also, still eating frozen peaches from last years bumper crop-hardly any on the tree this year but looks like a good crop of pears for the first time. One apple tree also, froze a bunch off it last year.

Ralph, My long term plans include a raised garden to offset my stiff joints c/w veggies as the main foliage / decor. Think of Carrots as an exotic plant/tree… I think of climbing peas over a trellis under which the train passes. Strawberries hanging out of the cliff side… Pull the train up c/w gondola, load up and off to market we go… hee. heee… heeeee… gg
