Times are a changing. How many newspapers have stopped coming out in print versions, or have folded altogether?
I think you summed it all up right there, David. As for myself, I’m just thankful that the magazine is still around at all. I read the current issue and enjoyed it. For me it’s remains another source of garden railways information, photographs and advertisements for me to hopefully ponder over for another 40 years. And hopefully it’s cover will attract and entice some new potential large scale train enthusiasts into the hobby. I’m still old school and like to sit down in a comfy chair with an actual magazine in my hands to look at. And I can even roll it up, stuff it my pocket, and take it to the beach and while others are reading Gone With The Wind or Fifty Shades Of Grey, or whatever, I can be doing my train thing. I still subscribe and plan to continue to subscribe as long as I enjoy looking at the garden railway content printed on it’s pages. Mark Betlem
