Trying my hand at building rolling stock

Randy McDonald said:
Well I got some more done on the boxcars finally. Ladders, grab irons and roof walk supports. Also did the truss rods. http://www.lscdata.com/users/kettle_valley/_forumfiles/IMG_0208 (Small).JPG http://www.lscdata.com/users/kettle_valley/_forumfiles/IMG_0209 (Small).JPG http://www.lscdata.com/users/kettle_valley/_forumfiles/IMG_0210 (Small).JPG

Edit: Oops something went haywire, try to fix it

Randy,
Rename the file and remove the parenthesis, making sure you leave no spaces.

Yep! Photo links say “File not found”.

This should work. (I think)

Randy I like the detail shots. Build is looking good

David thanks. I’d like to get them finished soon but all of the sources for good priced BM flatcar kits are out of stock so I will have to bite the bullet and pay a premium price for them or wait till BM gets more in stock

I was going o buy a flatcar for my MOW project and ended up building one!

Yes Doug one of the pieces of rolling stock is going to be a flatcar, that I built. Just need 6 sets of trucks and 6 pair of couplers. That’s why I wanted to go with the BM kits, makes it so much cheaper than buying trucks and couplers seperately.

I tried to get some too but no luck. I’d be happy if I could just find some reasonably priced trucks.
