Trackwork sometimes calls for a bridge

For Rooster. Now I’m ready to start laying track.
Jon I wanted a way to be able to remove the bridge if neccessary.

Again thanks to all.

That looks really good. Might I suggest the Garden Metal Models tie strips with walkway on the bridge.

Roger, Nice item, but from the photos I used this style bridge doesn’t use walkways

Very excellent job

I am very impressed and thankful you post it! gives me great ideas…

Yea John I bet you can use something along this line. I’ve seen your layout on someplaces else. How’s it coming along, got the drinkserving line in yet?

Dave

Walkways really depend on the era that you are modeling. These days OSHA requires a walkway on all RR bridges. In the past it was required anywhere a RR worker would be required to cross the bridge.

There is an exception to every rule prototypical wise. N.S> blows stack trains and mixed freight daily across these bridges on the Lurgan Branch and note no guard rails? Pics were taken about 2yrs ago??
