Track Maintenance on the J&B line by the Regal

Rick It’s MAGIC!!! I just shaved or cut the door up about 1 inch and to the left about 6 inches. Dang It I still have to open the door to get the dang train through! I muhttp://www.lscdata.com/users/blueregal/_forumfiles/mz_07_10009298948.gifsta misjudged the opening. The Regal curves to the right inside then straight down the middle of the garage between the two cars. I’m hopin I never misjudge and run over about 10 freight cars when backing in so far so good. Hope to eventually only have one car and have a built up trestle the runs out the block wall like a tunnel and then slopes down to the ground, or probably due to my legs end up elevating track up to about 3ft plus for health reasons. Legs are getting “not so good”

Use that magic to remove the 2x4 which appears to be holding the fence outward... Sorry just caught my eye and I'm feeling my oats tonight, I have similar issues on a different level ;)

Jerry,

Thanks for the answer. I have track coming inside through a basement window. I’ve got two friends that also have track coming in through windows. I’ve got track going into a shed, a cabinet and a garage with drop down slide doors. I just had not seen track going through a regular door, it looks very interesting. How do you hold the track in place? Is it anchored to the concrete?

That is a piece of cedar fence, it is just there for security when we get a big wind the fence kind of sways a little not much, but enough to put that there to keep from swaying, and possibly have the wind take the whole 100 feet down. The Regal

I could have used a brace on a large trellis that was just starting to look good covered with english ivy when 40mph wind gust took it down a few weeks ago. I came home and found it laying on my track...no damage to the track ....that ivy was a nice natural barrier to the neighboring property though. In your case though I think that is all the reason to build a large mountain over top the brace:)

keep watchin may take awhile but I will post future developments on the J&B as they happen! Have many many ideas but you know how ideas are, sometimes they don’t make it to real life. Ha ha The Regal
