Well the receiver had to be mailed back to Precision RC because when I connected the battery to the battery terminals I was getting a real low voltage reading even though the battery itself was reading 16V They said to mail it to them for a look at. So the big reveal is delayed
Ok. Sent the receiver back and it seems the issue was on my end. Me I guess because I have it back and it works. Oh well onward.
Did a bench test and all is working including the accessories I’ve added (Cab light and fan behind the grill).
Now to start putting it all together and “jamming” the wires in (well, trying to get the wires to all fit).
I’m hoping by this weekend I’ll have some final pics and have then posted. Stay tuned (if you haven’t lost interest already ).

Done! I like it as my first scratch built engine. Glad to finish because I have other projects to get to and my work bench is only big enough for one project at a time
