Thomas the Tank Engine and British labor history

The plots were always fishy.

don’t know about British Labor History, but I can assure you that I work my tail off in regards to Thomas here at home, “dad, will you start this DVD?”, “Dad can you read me this book?”, “can I take my trains with me?”, “When is the man in the brown truck gonna bring us a new Thomas movie?”…

When Thomas (threads) go bad…

Let’s not even mention that other tale of oppression, subjugation, humiliation and downright slavery at the hands of the moneyed ‘aristocracy’ - Anna Sewell’s heartbreaking story of the breaking of a proud spirit into nothing more than a beast of burden…yes, it’s none other than ‘Non-white Beauty’ that I’m talking about here.

I think a few of you have been out in the sun to long. I can’t wait to see what this winter is going to bring with caben fever.

Sun? Wot sun? The only time the sun shines, I have to be indoors at work. Weekends, it rains.
