Large Scale Central

The Outhouse has returned

Well, mine is rather crude, but it is mobile.

Have fun, David Meashey

i will do without a visit from the outhouse. who knows, how much of the content would spill over on that long journey…

but i got my “maintenance of crew” outhouse from the 2010 challenge (or was it 2011?)

I remember that outhouse. It never made it to my RR but the traveling Rooster did ! What ever happened to that Rooster? Maybe he is inside the outhouse?

Out of the 3 travelers, I’ve only touched the signed boxcar and duly sent it on…

Heck I could have been trusted with the OH, my septic tank guy was very happy with my ST management, as I was told after my 12 year pump out(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-sealed.gif). Said Pooh modestly.

The boxcar was mailed around, I think the other two were passed from pal to pal until an outsider got the OH.

I think the Rooster got passed to somebody with fowl intentions… a very fouled fowl!

He mistakenly passed through Kentucky and the Colonel nabbed him…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Same here on Rooster, Tood.

We also wonder what happen to Rooster. He was here for about two week on making 5 videos on our R.r. and then sent down to San Diego, Ca. Agter that we seen a few more videos being poster then got lost lost?

Sorry...  DBL post?

Roosta might be in Connecticut … (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)working for scratch …. .

Glad the Outhouse Award was found. We carried it for a year and it made travels with us in 2018. It was also on display at the ECLSTS, at least once, and it was at the Finger Lakes Live Steamers in Marango, NY. The last time I saw it was on the patio at Stan’s, so I’m glad it resurfaced.

I spotted this on the New Hampshire groups layout …

Indeed the Outhouse is on the move again.

This weekend it traveled to three Large Scale module layouts at the Amherst Railway Society Railroad Hobby Show in Springfield, MA

On Saturday it was on several modules on the New Hampshire Garden Railway Societies Big Green modular layout.

Sunday morning it traveled to the Hudson Valley Large Scale Railroad Club’s module layout

and Sunday afternoon on to the Mohegan & Pequot Model Railroad Club’s module layout.

Its now on its was to a show in CT and as it continues its travels.

Stan

Stan and Sean:

THANKS!

It is a nice piece of modeling, and packaging.

I personally would like the outhouse next if it’s my turn?

It’s not your turn…

I built a double outhouse for my farm house. Turned out nice looking.

Ha! That explains it. I knew I saw it in a different place then shown in Sean’s photo when I was there on Sunday!

The “Traveling Outhouse” should create fine “movements” on many railroads. Just turn up the volume.
