Remember that “Hull” is also the home of “The Choo-Choo de Hull” or whatever it is called these days, since it’s reserection. Which you know is the ONLY STEAM powered tourist train in Eastern Canada.
Yes it is a European style loco and rolling stock, and in North American eyes, is lacking outside cylinders on the loco; but it is truely STEAM powered. The regular trip up to Wakefield (A good English sounding name) is a nice adventure, and the dinner train now boasts of food totally prepared on the train…reportedly of excellent quality.

Took my mama on the dinner train some years back. Very nice then; if they've maintained or improved the standards, it would indeed be an excellent outing. Pricey, but good value.
